Contest Rules:
- One Entry Per Person
- Open to ages 10 – 18 years old
- Last day to turn in is Saturday April 29, 2023.
- Please include name, age, and contact information on entry
- Entry may be a short story (3 – 4 pages) or a poem.
- Use one of the prompts – interpretation is up to contestant
- Turn in at Burley Public Library or email entry with “X Marks the Spot” Entry to libraryprograms@bplibrary.org
Prompt 1:
You are given the trip of a lifetime! Where do you go? How do you get there? Is it a fun trip? Dangerous?
*This can be a real place or fantasy world*
Prompt 2:
You come across a magical item that takes you away to a whole new world! How would you get home? Who do you meet along the way? Do you want to go home by the end of the adventure?
Poem Prompt:
Write a poem about going to fantastical or real places
