Ready for Kindergarten
Ready For Kindergarten is a Free Parent Workshop program that provides parents with teaching tools, toys, and learning activities to use with children from ages 0 – 5. Each workshop includes free childcare and dinner and runs about 1 to 2 hours in length.
Programs require registration via the QR code on the flyer provided or you can register on the READY for Kindergarten website.
This workshop series is available for parents or caregivers of children of the following ages:
- 0-1 (entering Kindergarten in 2029)
- 1-2 (entering Kindergarten in 2028)
- 2-3 (entering Kindergarten in 2027)
- 3-4 (entering Kindergarten in 2026)
- 4-5 (entering Kindergarten in 2025)
Schedule
There are TWO time options: 10:00 a.m. OR 6:00 p.m. Dinner is provided for the evening workshops.
Locations of the workshops are: John V Evans Elementary and Burley Library.
Part 1: Language & Literacy
- September 12 @ 6:00 p.m. at John V Evans Elementary
- September 16 @ 10:00 a.m. at Burley Public Library
Part 2: Math & Reasoning
- November 14 @ 6:00 p.m. at John V Evans Elementary
- November 18 @ 10:00 a.m. at Burley Public Library
Part 3: Social & Emotional
- January 9 @ 6:00 p.m. at John V Evans Elementary
- January 13 @ 10:00 a.m. at Burley Public Library
