Mini-Con 2026 at the Burley Public Library

10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The Burley Public Library is hosting our fifth annual Mini-Con on May 9. There will be professional artists, vendors, games, and contests! Join us for an afternoon of fun!
- Professional artists, and creators!
- The Collective Comic and Collectibles will be there!
- Local vendors will be selling fun things!
- Free Comic Books, while supplies last!
- Arcadia is bringing a game from their arcade!
- Meet and Greets!
- Art and Cosplay Contests!
- ESCAPE ROOM IS BACK!!!
*A Mini-Con is a small-sized convention that hosts graphic artists, voice actors, actors, games of all kinds, activities, contests, and vendors in one location. These miniature conventions usually focus on some sort of fantasy/science fiction, “geek/nerd”, or popular culture fandom i.e., Anime/Manga, Comic Books, Video Games, Star Trek/Star Wars etc. They are a place for people to meet, discuss, and celebrate all of the things that they like in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment.
*Free comic books handed out until supplies are gone.

Adrian Ropp
Artist and Writer

Disney Infinity
Adrian Ropp is a 30-Year veteran of the entertainment industry, having worked on some of the world’s largest brands: Disney, Pixar, Marvel Comics, Star Wars, Archie, Underdog, Pink Panther, Rocky & Bullwinkle – as well as an industry leading game writer. He has also worked as an animation director and a storyboard artist on such films as The Velveteen Rabbit.
Julia Green
Artist and Illustrator
Julia Green is an illustrator and surface pattern designer in Nampa, Idaho, USA. She has been an illustrator since 2008 and a fulltime freelance illustrator since 2017. Her medium of choice is digital drawing using Adobe Fresco, Photoshop, and Illustrator. She believes that variety is the spice of life which has led her to creating art for many different projects like gig posters, editorial illustration, patterns for children’s rain boots, greeting cards, children’s books, and more. Her illustration style is a vibrant, whimsical, and charming mix of 1950s/60s nostalgia and modern illustration. She believes in making fun artwork that provides a little respite from the daily grind
James “W.A.R.” Lloyd
Artist, Designer, and Creator
“James W.A.R. Lloyd is an illustrator, commercial artist, and the creative force behind the beloved Treefort brand and marketing vibe.
Lloyd integrates storytelling throughout his body of work and has developed an iconic style.
His disciplined and prolific production is based upon creation for its own sake.”
Rules for Entering the Art and Cosplay Contests
Please bring art entries with you to the Burley Library on the morning of the Mini-Con. Art entries will be given numbers and voted on by a panel of judges before the end of the day. Art will have to be left for judging, but can be picked up the following week at the Burley Public Library. Contestants can pick up art starting Monday, May 11th, and winners can pick up prizes for the Art Contest on Wednesday, May 13th!
Cosplay contestants will be judged at the Mini-Con event, and prizes will be awarded that day!
