Attention Families! Are you looking for ways to connect and grow as a family unit? Are you interested in sharing some great books with your kids and teens? Then try out one of the new clubs at the library!
New this year, the Burley Public Library will be hosting a Family Book Club!
Each month, from September to April, families who wish to participate can read the titles listed below and then come to a monthly movie and discussion at the library.
The first 10 families that choose to participate each month can get a free copy of the book of the month that they can keep even after the program is over.
Every 4th Friday of the month, participants who have read the book can come to the library, watch a film tied to the book, and then discuss differences and other topics.
(FYI: Anyone can come and watch the movie without having read the book, but you might get lost during the discussion portion of the evening lol)
Drinks and snacks will be served.
This program will run from September – April.
This is intended to be a family program, but everyone is welcome!
Please do not drop off children, a parent or guardian must be with children under the age of 12 since this is an after-library hours program.
