Attention All GenX’ers and Millennials and 80’s movie buffs! Do you think the younger generation is too soft? Do you wish you could share your generational trauma with those who have no idea about the entertainment we endured? Then you should try out the library’s brand new movie club!
New this year, the Burley Public Library will be hosting an 80’s Movie Club!
Every 2nd Friday of the month, the library will show an 80’s film and then hold a group discussion afterward.
Josie Buchanan is the facilitator and will be bringing up movie trivia and tidbits about each of the films after the showings. Drinks and snacks will be served.
This program will run from September – April.
This is intended to be an adult program, but everyone is welcome! We want to share the love of the movies we grew up on and that haunted us with the young and uninitiated LOL!
Please do not drop off children, a parent or guardian must be with children under the age of 12 since this is an after-library hours program.
